Welcome to The Grape Tap

We are excited you stopped by.  The Grape Tap is a restaurant and wine cellar offering creative food, unique wines, and craft beers.  Seating is available on the main level, which has the comort of a renovated 1930's era pioneer home blended with contempory style and color.  Or travel downstairs to dine or taste wine in our European-style wine cellar with its stone walls and arched stucco ceilings.  The wine cellar also features a private reserve room for parties and special events.  In the summer, sit under the midnight sun in The Backyard for dining, wine and beer tasting and live music.

Our creative food is prepared daily by our chef, Pat Mathias, and her staff using only the freshest ingredients available.  The menu follows the seasons which allows Pat to use orgainic and local ingredients when possible, as well as offer weekly specials that we're sure will satisfy your culinary imaginaion.  Our wine list is original and comlementary to all tastes and sophistication.  From a  connoisseur to someone wanting to try wine for the first time, The Grape Tap staff has the knowledge and experience to talk about our wines and make suggesions in a way that will make everyone feel welcome.  We also offer 24 local, domestic and import beers by the bottle and on tap.  Visit us in historic downtown Wasilla and we look forward to seeing you soon.
